Não precisa ser de ouro mas é da cor do mesmo e igualmente bonito e valioso. Os fetos abundam em determinadas partes da Malcata, especialmente junto à barragem.
No outono adquirem colorações amarelas e castanhas vibrantes fazendo, quando em larga quantidade, manchas de cor que se destacam quer na vegetação nativa quer na paisagem.

It doesn’t have to be gold but it’s the same color and equally beautiful and valuable. Ferns abound in certain parts of Malcata, especially near the dam. In autumn they acquire vibrant yellow and brown colors, creating, when in large quantities, patches of color that stand out both in the native vegetation and in the landscape.
