Aqui, nos Jarrões da Malcata, ponto alto perto da Casa da Ventosa, a serra estende-se até onde a vista alcança, nos altos e baixos de colinas e montes polvilhadas de machas mais ou menos intensas de vegetação colorida e de árvores. Com sorte avistaremos alguns dos habitantes alados que por aqui nidificam: os abutres negros.

Here, in Jarrões da Malcata, a high point near Casa da Ventosa, the mountain range stretches as far as the eye can see, in the ups and downs of hills and mountains dotted with more or less intense patches of colorful vegetation and trees. With luck we will see some of the winged inhabitants that nest here: black vultures.
