Nem sempre é fácil cultivar o bem – It’s not always easy to cultivate the good

Considerando que tudo o que fazemos tem um efeito multiplicador, o cultivo do bem não é excepção, bem pelo contrário. Contudo, esta regra não é universal e não se aplica a todos os espécimes humanos sendo, por vezes, bastante difícil de cumprir. Felizmente os bons exemplos ainda superam as más excepções.
Em todo o caso devemos ter sempre presente uma citação de Robert A. Heinlein: “Nunca subestimem o poder da estupidez humana”.

Considering that everything we do has a multiplying effect, cultivating good is no exception, quite the opposite. However, this rule is not universal and does not apply to all human specimens and is sometimes quite difficult to comply with. Fortunately, the good examples still outweigh the bad exceptions. In any case, we should always keep in mind a quote from Robert A. Heinlein: “Never underestimate the power of human stupidity”.
