a árvore apazigua-nos com a sua atmosfera de folhas
e de sombras interiores
nós habitamos a árvore com a nossa respiração
com a da árvore
com a árvore nós partilhamos o mundo com os deuses

To see a tree is not enough to see it
the tree is a slow reverence
a presence reminiscent
a lost dwellingand found
In the shade of a tree
time is no longer time
but the magic of an instant that starts without end
the tree appeases us with its atmosphere of leaves
and of interior shadows
we inhabit the tree with our breath
with that of the tree
with the tree we share the world with the gods
